Terms
Rates. Prices are in AUD and exclude GST unless shown. This quote is valid for 14 days and is based on the details you gave us (goods, pallets, weight, addresses and access). If the job differs, we will re-price it before going ahead.
Fuel levy. The fuel levy is reviewed monthly and is charged at the rate current on the day of the job.
Payment. Payment is required in advance. Once you approve this quote we send you an invoice, and the job is booked when payment is received.
Waiting time. Loading and unloading time beyond the allowance in this quote is charged at the truck's hourly rate.
Insurance. Our standard carrier's insurance policy applies. If your goods are not covered by our policy, or their value exceeds its cover, you are responsible for arranging additional insurance.
Delays and attendance. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss caused by delays or failure to attend due to breakdown, traffic, weather, road closures, site access or other events beyond our reasonable control. We will tell you as soon as possible and rebook at the earliest available time.
Goods and access. Dangerous goods must be declared, packed and documented correctly. Goods must be packed suitably for road transport. You must provide safe access and loading equipment at both ends unless a tailgate or forklift truck is booked.
General. We may refuse carriage at our discretion, and services may be subcontracted to carriers who meet our standards. Governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
